L’estetica in María Zambrano. |
Juan Fernando Ortega Muñoz Abstract Maria Zambrano’s method of «poetic reason» is particularly appropriate in studying aesthetics, because, to her, it’s not a pure rational discourse but the synthesis of a discursive and intuitive knowledge. Aesthetics has no sense as a simple and rational discourse but as a synthesis of it with the experiences of beauty and, therefore, it’s «intuition and reasoning» as Aristotle defined philosophy. To Maria Zambrano ethics itself is aesthetics, because it is a nice acting according to intuited principles: “Concrete man”, she writes, “perceives with his inner harmony the harmony of universe” and “ethics in short is art” and “the ultimate form of morality is necessarily aesthetic”.
